Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Fort Mill Cellular, LLC! By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with a transaction.

1. General Agreement

By selling your device through our website, you confirm that:

You are the rightful owner of the device and have the legal right to sell it.

The information provided about the device (model, condition, etc.) is accurate and truthful.

You agree to transfer full ownership of the device to us upon receipt and payment.

2. Device Eligibility and Evaluation

We accept a variety of electronic devices, including smartphones and tablets. Device eligibility is determined based on:

Condition: Devices must match the condition stated during the submission process, otherwise we may revise or reject the offer.

Functionality: If a device is found to be non-functional or in a different condition than described, we may revise or reject the offer. Devices with "Unknown Part" messages, "Service" battery health and water damage are susceptible to additional deductions.

Ownership Verification: We may request additional verification if ownership concerns arise.

Lock Status: We accept carrier locked devices, although we do not accept iCloud locked or MDM locked devices.

Contracts: All devices must be fully paid off and out of contract for us to purchase it.

Condition verification: Fort Mill Cellular, LLC may open your device to confirm its internal condition if it is deemed necessary. 

Condition Discrepancies

If we determine that your device’s condition does not match the description provided, we will issue a revised offer. You have the option to:

Accept the new offer and proceed with payment.

Decline the offer and request your device to be returned at no cost.

Failure to respond within 7 business days will result in automatic acceptance of the revised offer.

3. Shipping and Handling

We provide a prepaid shipping label for sending your device to us.

You are responsible for properly packaging your device to prevent damage during transit.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments caused by the carrier.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your package is lost or stolen in transit, you must contact the shipping carrier directly. We are not liable for losses occurring before the device reaches our facility.

4. Payment Terms

Payments are issued within 1-3 business days after the device has been inspected and confirmed.

Payment options include PayPal, Zelle, and more (as selected at checkout).

If your device is flagged for ownership concerns or reported lost/stolen, we reserve the right to withhold payment until the issue is resolved.

5. Data Security and Privacy

Before sending your device, you must:

Remove all personal data by performing a factory reset.

Sign out of all accounts (iCloud, Google, Samsung, etc.) to prevent activation locks.

Remove SIM/memory cards, as we do not return them.

We take data security seriously and ensure that all received devices undergo a data-wiping process, but we are not responsible for residual data left on devices.

6. Device Ownership and Legality

You certify that the device is not stolen, blacklisted, or involved in fraudulent activity.

If we determine a device is reported lost/stolen or has an active carrier block, we may report it to law enforcement and deny payment.

If you mistakenly send a blocked or blacklisted device, you may request its return. However, we cannot return devices flagged by authorities.

7. Trade-In and Store Credit Policy

If a trade-in option is available, store credit may be offered instead of cash.

Store credit is non-transferable and non-refundable once applied to a purchase.

8. Returns and Cancellations

If you change your mind after submitting your device but before payment is issued, you may request a return.

If the device has already been processed and paid for, the sale is final.

9. Warranty and Refurbished Device Sales

If we offer refurbished devices for sale:

Devices may include third-party or non-OEM parts.

Cosmetic imperfections (scratches, scuffs) are not covered after 48 hours from the time of purchase.

Warranty coverage does not apply to new damage occurring after the device is sold.

10. Liability Disclaimer

Fort Mill Cellular, LLC is not responsible for:

Any data loss, software issues, or account-related problems after the sale.

Devices lost or damaged in transit.

Any damages resulting from customer misuse, neglect, or modifications after purchase.

11. Legal and Compliance

By using our services, you waive any claims outside the scope of this agreement.

These terms are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

Any disputes shall be resolved under the laws of South Carolina, USA.
